R.S. Nation blowing harp with BackBeat Boulevard backing!

So yes, we did go back to Latitude 31 that night and split a pulled pork sandwich with fries (mostly to  Tank).  As promised, the band, BackBeat Boulevard, was awesome!  A nice little four-piece band, and they were good!  Playing Steely Dan (Any band that can do them justice is tops in my book!), Allmans, Doobies, and quite a bit of Motown.  A great rendition of Sittin on the Dock of the Bay by Otis Redding.  Anyway, we finished our meal, danced a bit, then I sidled up and asked them if I could maybe play a leetle harpskie on a blues number in the key of G.  They said sure!

Yeah, my stage name when I play just harp is R.S. Nation (for Red Sox Nation).

See a little video clip here.  I had a ball!

Tank, sporting a new short cut to offset the humidity.
That night we again stayed in a Walmart parking lot, then the next day headed for Anastasia State Park outside of St. Augustine, Florida!  We plan to stay here for 3 days, resting and reorganizing, before heading to Cape Canaveral, then on to see our friends Skip and Terri in Venice, Florida.
