Since we left the Keys we have been hanging out at Skip and Terri's place in Rambler's Rest RV Park near Venice FL.
They returned to WI for some horse business and we are taking care of their place and their kitties, Luna and Kiki. What a treat, a great big version of our little R-Pod, complete with a nice kitchen and big screen TV. There's even a TV on the outside of their RV, and I watched the Vikings annihilate the Bears, while sitting in my swimsuit outside the RV. Wows!
Hardly feels like Christmas, but the folks around here are giving it a shot. Christmas carols in the air and inflatable Christmas figures.
We also took an overnight side trip to visit Tricia and Chris, friends of Karen's since early school days.
Had a great time, and took in the new Star Wars movie, in 3-D at an IMAX theater. The force was definitely with us!!
