We have added new pics and text to previous posts...

We are finally getting caught up here and have posted some additional photos and text, so if you're interested, go back and look at the previous postings...

We are leaving Jo and Daniel's place today and heading back to Boston.  Gonna probably watch the Patriots tonight at Larry and Mary's place.  We head to the Cape for two days on the weekend, meeting up with good friends Bob and Rita from Minnesota! Then on to Jim and Maureen in New Joisey for one night and Larry and Mary (same names but different states!) in MD.  Then we begin our migration south...

Seeya!!

Staying with Jordin and Daniel

Next we drove to East Hartford, CT to stay with my younger daughter Jordin and her husband of a year, Daniel.  They had just bought and moved into a house last May.

There was a crew working on resurfacing their street.  The end of their driveway had been chopped off, so it was a real project backing our camper in without scraping off the back stabilizers or the pipes that dump our black and gray water.  Daniel removed the rear stabilizers, and good friend Brian brought over some ramps to help ease our way.  After several attempts, we successfully got it into a safe berth by their garage!

Daniel is building a fence around their yard so that their dogs Chaos and LeeLu can spend more time outdoors ( they're runners!) and I was able to lend a hand on that front.
OK...so they don't exactly look like runners in this photo!
I also helped Jordin realize her dream of a home with yellow doors.

We painted two coats.

Karen cooked a delicious lasagna featuring spinach and bison meat, which we munched on for several days.
After dinner each night we made use of Netflix, watching Caddy Shack, Live Die Repeat and Groundhog Day!  BFM!!

Tank was fascinated with Jo's new furry bunnies!

We topped off the visit with a dinner with Daniel's parents, Mike and Karen, at Ted Montana's place!

                 Love you guys!!

Mea Culpa...to my cousins!

While visiting my brother Mark and Lydia for nearly two weeks at the log home he built, we had time to bike, hike, spend time with their friends watching the first of the Democratic debates and travel an hour and a half further north to visit the Gavins, my first cousins!
My brother Mark started building his log home nearly 30 years ago!
It's still a work in progress. ;)

He built this building as well. He calls it the "Barn" but it
is a nearly finished apartment where Jim and I stayed.
Aunt Loretta, my mother's oldest sister and only remaining sibling is 92, yet looks, laughs and plays like she is still a youngster. My cousin Kathy and her husband Eddie and my cousin David all sat and reminisced about our youth...and what trouble makers we were. :)

My oldest cousin Kerry wasn't informed about this gathering, but he caught up with all of us a week later at the Gypsy Joynt in Great Barrington where David played incredible harp and Americana Blues with Dan McRory...an amazing singer and guitarist.
