Key West!

We drove from Venice back down to Homestead, which is the last town before you head into the Keys, and spent the night in a Cracker Barrel parking lot.  Watched the first half of the Viking game in the Last Chance Saloon (last bar before the Keys!)

Then into the Keys, staying at Marathon for two nights and heading down to Key West both days...  Well, Florida scored some big points here! The first day we drove to Key West to explore. We hopped on our bikes after letting Tank play in the local dog park and go for a swim in the ocean.

Key West Art Center

Duval Street is everything anyone says about it! Bars, music, restaurants and raucous behavior!!!!

We had 2 for 1 coupons from the visitor center, one for "Irish Kevin's." Well, you know the Irish. About 50 people were there from a cruise ship and the place was hoppin!
You find all types on Duval Street....

Must be break time!

Oh yeah baby!

On the second day we had a great time, especially our snorkeling with Fury Expeditions.  An awesome crew and met some cool people as well.  And free drinks on the hour-long cruise back to KW!!

My only regret is that I just don't have the late night stamina that I once did.  On our second night in Key West there was a Led Zeppelin tribute band that was supposed to look and sound like the real deal!  Only problem is, they didn't start until 10!!

Gonna keep the verbiage down and just put in a bunch of photos...

Photo bombed by Jason, one of the crew and a cool dude.

They recommended wetsuits...$10 extra. The water was 72 degrees.
The boat was a huge catamaran!

Speaks for itself!!!!

Complimentary drinks on the way back...NICE!

And after the snorkeling we used the other 2 for 1 at "Smokin' Tuna!"

Always amazed with Tank and his magnetism...he has adoring fans everywhere we go!

And did I mention...

I'm RETIRED!!!!
